• Advanced Metal Particles are 50% smaller and finer than those used in Sony Betacam SP tape, for 2 dB higher output. This is an essential requirement for the higher bandwidths of digital recording.
• Advanced calendaring renders the surface extremely smooth, an important physical attribute for high carrier-to-noise ratio.
• Hyper Molecular Binder for archival durability compared to Sony Betacam SP tape; denser cross-linking with 50% fewer unlinked oligomers helps the tape stand up to long durations in Pause and Still modes.
• Hyper Lubricant protects the tape surface and controls the coefficient of friction, important for optimum tape-to-head contact.
• 75% less shrinkage than Sony Betacam SP tape for improved archival life, better machine-to-machine compatibility.
